The Google Customer Solutions (GCS) team are entrepreneurial and client-focused members who are the "human face" of Google, helping entrepreneurs both individually and broadly build their online presence and grow their businesses. As an Account Strategist for Small and Medium-sized businesses we anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key customers and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business through Google Ads and paid advertising. 

Role & Responsibilities 

Supported and grew multimillion dollar portfolios of lead-generation business accounts across different industries by partnering to develop best practices across Google’s advertising suite and develop key strategies based on client KPI’s and marketing goals. 

 

Introduced and optimized paid media campaigns across Search, Shopping, Display, YouTube, Discovery and Performance Max across advertisers including C-level executives and business owners while understanding their business goals to grow their digital marketing investment with Google.

Managed a portfolio of medium-sized businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and creating multi-quarter plans for achievement.

​

Consistently overachieve on productivity and revenue metrics, attaining over 100% core score & productivity in every quarter while at Google - average core score of 116%; only person on the Engage Canada team to have hit all PGA OKRs in 2023.

Canada Scaled French Program: Piloted French strategy program and office hours scaled across 3 Canada teams to outreach and strategize pitch calls/emails amid a French-English language barrier. Scaled French translated email templates across Scaled-Engage-AGT teams for advertisers to close productivity metric gaps. Worked with 22 sellers across the 3 teams to outreach, pitch, and win client opportunities with UAAs and Points. In total, worked with $2M+ in revenue and won over 50 UAAs across Canada Scaled in 2023.

 

Community Leaders Program (CLP): Mentor a team of 8 University of Michigan students who are tasked with assisting 40 local small businesses with their digital advertising and community impact.

​

Peer Mentorship: Serve as a mentor for two Engage Account Strategists, meeting 1:1 weekly to discuss current productivity, strategize on PGA attainment, and serve as a peer advisor for career development and progress. Mentees consistently overachieved on their productivity targets and OKRs as early as their first quarter on target.
